A Very Special Episode of Gottlieb and Wang
Qian Julie and I recently welcomed Baby E into the world! Mother and baby are happy and healthy, and I’m simply in awe of them.
I’ve been practicing law on behalf of children for a long time, and I’ve been proud of that work every single day. In the short time since our daughter was born, however, the importance of our work has truly hit home. All of the support and encouragement and trust that we’ve received from parents through the years has landed on me like a ton of bricks. I hope to continue to serve and empower, and add value to a type of relationship that we now understand a little bit better. In the past, I always had to extrapolate what parents are feeling when their child’s rights are violated from the love and support I received from my own parents; now I can — at least — connect a few more data points.
